Masjid Al-Huda Winter Retreat 2018
While a picture may be worth a thousand words, a portrait is limitless. An indelible combination of the uniqueness of the subject and the creativity of the composer, a portrait speaks volumes to the hearts and souls of the observer. Over 1400 hundred years ago, a group of chosen individuals — who were given the pleasure of their Lord — captured the sophisticated nuances of the greatest of creation to ever live not only in word, but in action and spirit. These companions composed not only a portrait but a lifestyle that we yearn to imitate almost one-and-one-half millennia later. Join us as we travel back in time to see the life of the beloved brought to life on the canvas of the sirah. Join us for The Prophetic Portrait.
