Shaykh Sa'ad Quadri
Imam and Religious Director of Masjid Al-Huda
Shaykh Sa’ad Quadri is the imam of Masjid Al-Huda, located in Greenfield, WI, near Milwaukee. He was born in Park Ridge, IL and grew up in the Chicagoland area. He completed his bachelor’s degree in English and History at Northern Illinois University and his master’s degree in Education at DePaul University.
Prior to beginning college, Shaykh Sa’ad formally began studying the Islamic sciences and with local teachers on a part-time basis for almost fifteen years. After completing his master’s, he traveled overseas to Zambia where he completed his `alimiyya degree, receiving license to teach the traditional Islamic sciences. While studying the Islamic sciences, he began training and was formally authorized in the Islamic science of spiritual development (tazkiyah).
Since his time in high school, Shaykh Sa’ad has also been actively involved in his local communities by teaching in the weekend and weeknight school systems, as well as by organizing a variety of youth and community events with local and national organizations.
Prior to serving as an imam, he taught in the Islamic school system as an AP English, Arabic, Islamic studies, and Qur’an teacher for nearly a decade. He spent his free time volunteering as a coach and advisor. He has also presented seminars and workshops on educational theory and practice with High Quality Education Consulting, with whom he has co-authored The War within our Hearts, Parenting…Who Said It Would Be Easy, and Wisdom for the Wise. Hafiz Muhammad Idris
Imam of Masjid Al-Huda & Director of Milwaukee Muslim Funeral Home
Hafiz Muhammad Idris completed memorization of the Holy Qur’an at Jamia Arbia in Gujranwala, Pakistan at age of 15. Thereafter he completed 4 years of Alim studies reaching to Mawquuf Al’aih status under the educational board of Rabita tul Madaris Al -Arabiyya Pakistan.
Hafiz Muhammad Idris matriculated at International Islamic University in Islamabad, Pakistan in 2000 where he earned his BA/LLB Honors degree in Shariah & Law. He started working as an attorney after receiving his license and eventual Advocate status from Punjab High Court Bar Association license in 2004 and became a member of the Bar Association.
During the year 2005 he moved to Milwaukee and in 2006 he started teaching Qur’an classes in the greater Milwaukee Area. He taught part time Hifz-ul-Qur’an class at Islamic Society of Milwaukee(ISM) and taught basics of Tajweed at ISM Saturday & Sunday school. In addition, he taught basic Tajweed, Tafseer and Fiqh classes and lead jumuah prayers at different correctional institutes in the State of Wisconsin.
He is a co-founder and member board of directors of Guidance Inc (a religious, educational, and charitable organization) established in 2008, now known in the community as Masjid Al-Huda.
He is also co-founder and member board of directors of Milwaukee Muslim Funeral Home established in 2011. This setup provides funeral services to the community members mainly but not limited to greater Milwaukee area.
Sr. Comilita Salah
Sr. Comilita Salah is the wife of Abdelmonem Salah and mother of six children. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is also a Certified Family Mediator. Sr. Comilita has served the Milwaukee Muslim Community for the last twenty years. Her main work has been in education, outreach, and sisters’ services. She was a classroom teacher for seven years and currently teaches at Masjid Al-Huda’s Evening Qur’an School and Saturday School. She also teaches a Foundations of Islam Class focusing on teaching the basics of deen to new Muslim sisters. Currently Sr. Comilita serves as Administrator of Masjid Al-Huda and Guidance Academy.
